Simon Hill gives talk on 'The Importance of Contemporary Documents'

The talk, given to a firm of solicitors, looked at the value of contemporaneous documents, against other forms of evidence, in the judicial fact-finding process. The talk particularly focused on how the law recognises that human memory is fallible, and witness demeanour is rarely a safe foundation for determining the reliability of evidence.
