Milad Shojaei, instructed by Ishratara Islam at Farani Taylor Solicitors, represented the mother in a multi-day private children fact-finding hearing where serious allegations of domestic abuse had been made against the father.
The allegations included the father taking intimate photographs and videos of the mother without her consent, as well as exerting control and coercive behaviour by threatening to publish them. Moreover, it encompassed the father's use of threats of suicide to control the mother within the relationship, sending abusive and manipulative messages, and employing hateful language towards the child to cause her emotional harm.
Most significantly, it was alleged that the father subjected the mother to severe physical violence and threats to kill while brandishing a knife, all of which unfolded in the presence of the child at home.
Through thorough cross-examination spanning multiple days and adept handling of the evidence in the proceedings, Milad Shojaei successfully proved the allegations. This resulted in the court's decision to refrain from issuing any contact orders between the father and child.
