Ravinder Saimbhi client acquitted of 11 counts of Historic Sexual Allegations

The jury at Inner London Crown Court acquitted our client of 11 counts of historic sexual allegations in under 2 hours after a 9 day trial.

Represented by Ravinder Saimbhi, Mr O was accused by a woman in her 30’s who claimed that he had abused her over a period of 4-5 years as a young child when she had been a regular visitor to his family home. He denied that any such thing had been taken place and that the accusations were false. The case involved s28 cross examination and careful and sensitive questioning of the complainant as well as finding and calling defence evidence which no doubt assisted in the jury reaching their verdicts. Mr O, a man aged 55 and of good character was able to finally draw a line under a stressful period of 6 years between the allegations being reported to police and his ultimate acquittal.
