This bill aims to provide much-needed support for individuals and families affected by miscarriage, ensuring they receive proper care, recognition, and rights during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

A key feature of the bill is the 24-week threshold, which establishes that individuals who experience a miscarriage beyond 24 weeks will receive three days of paid leave — a crucial step toward offering legal recognition of the emotional and physical recovery process.
