Ravinder Saimbhi made a successful submission of no case to answer resulting in a Not Guilty Verdict for her client at Oxford Crown Court. Mr N was one of 5 individuals accused of a conspiracy to steal mobile phones as part of an enterprise to procure, process and resell high value devices. Ravinder was able to make legal arguments for the exclusion of several pieces of proposed evidence and make the half time submission that there was no evidence on which a jury, properly directed, could safely convict him. The case continued against the others while Mr N, who had been a man of good character, was released immediately from the dock with his character intact.
