Tyler Smith was instructed to represent a defendant who was charged with Strangulation and Assault in a 3-day trial at Manchester Crown Court.
The jury heard the video recorded interview of the Complainant and it then became apparent that there were significant disclosure issues in the case. Following two days of extensive legal argument regarding disclosure, the Crown ultimately offered no evidence on all counts. Tyler’s client as a result of this outcome, preserved his good character.
