Deborah Bryan publishes '5 Ways to Raise Your Profile' Article

The article is published in this month's Counsel Magazine, the magazine for barristers. Under the subheading 'Feeling sluggish in the practice department? Dust off your profile and learn how to stand out from the crowd with this refresher guide', Deborah sets out 5 ways to revitalise a flagging practice - 5 active strategies to enhance a barrister's profile:

(1) Your Website Entry;

(2) Meet and Greet;

(3) What is your Motivation;

(4) Keep Your Hand In: Extended Leave; and

(5) Social Media.

The article is based on a Women in the Law UK event entitled 'How To Raise Your Profile' and hosted at 33 Bedford Row on 28 March 2019. The event, which was attended by both male and female barristers and solicitors, included a keynote speech by Mrs Justice McGowan and advice from a range of speakers, including a senior partner at Russell Cooke.

The article, published in the 'Practice Toolset - Making It Happen' section of Counsel Magazine, can be viewed here.
