Deborah is an experienced family law practitioner specialising in all areas of family law. Deborah's key strengths are forensic insight, skilful analysis, strong advocacy techniques and firm and confident negotiation skills, as well as absolute dedication to client care.
She is often instructed in cases that involve difficult clients or by parties advancing a case that is resisted by the other parties. Deborah is known for being a fearless but considered advocate with a sound knowledge of the relevant law, who is routinely instructed in difficult cases requiring the advancement of a case which is opposition to the other parties.
Deborah also has several years’ experience of working in-house for a local authority, representing parents, children and local authorities in complex and highly contentious proceedings in the County Court and High Court.
Public Law Proceedings Deborah regularly represents parents, local authorities and children in high profile and complicated care proceedings. Her specialities NAI/FII, emotional abuse cases, serious allegation of child cruelty , child death, parental killing, child rape and sexual abuse. Private Law Proceedings Deborah is highly experienced in many areas of private law proceedings, specifically those involving child arrangements, internal relocation, abduction, parental alienation , fact finding hearing re alleged physical and sexual abuse and child cruelty
Family Finance Proceedings Deborah is also experienced in family finance cases, usually involved HNW/UHNW individuals. She also has experience in Schedule 1 Maintenance cases.

Training
Deborah regularly offers court skills training for local authority social workers, foster carers and the Royal College of Paediatricians. She has hosted past events as a London ambassador for Women in the Law.
Interests Deborah is a regular participant at the Chelsea Physic Garden Christmas fundraising event. She is also a Patron of the Friends Of the Heart Foundation of Jamaica UK.
Deborah has considerable experience of delivering court skills training for local authority social workers and foster carers.
