Milad Shojaei, instructed by Qudsia Hameed at Farani Taylor, acted for the applicant father in a multi-day fact-finding hearing, where cross-allegations had been made. The mother had made several allegations against the father, including physical abuse, verbal abuse, emotional abuse, psychological abuse, control and coercive behaviour, gaslighting, and neglect of the child. 

Milad conducted a rigorous cross-examination of the mother over the course of two days. The court also heard evidence from the mother’s sister, uncle and lodger. Through Milad's dedicated efforts, all the allegations of abuse were succesfully opposed. Additionally, a finding was made regarding the mother's threat to deport the father from the country, reinforcing the father’s position.  

After a prolonged two-year period of no direct contact, Milad efforts resulted in securing interim contact between the father and the child.
