On Friday 3rd March, 33 Bedford Row's Dr Katherine Simpson will be presenting at the Conflict Prevention & Resolution Annual Meeting 2023. Through a conversation between in-house counsel and outside counsel, the audience will learn how to apply better decision-making tools to disrupt unhelpful biases and improve quality in the arbitrator selection process. Dr Simpson and fellow panelists Ema Vidkak Gojkovic, Robert Shives, Mimi Lee and Mark Friedman will discuss the key points from recent social science research to illuminate the most effective ways to de-risk decision making and anchor decisions in hard data and meaningful insight. Presenters will then discuss the concrete tools and initiatives that can help change the practices that do not produce best results and implement the practices that do.
