Arran Dowling-Hussey has served as a Chartered Institute of Arbitrators ('CIArb') Trustee since 2017; his present term ends later this year. He was recently been re-elected unopposed to a second term, commencing January 2021.
Arran was previously a member of the CIArb Board of Management, from 2013-2015. He is also currently a member of the Council of the Society of Construction Law.
The CIArb is a global training and membership organisation promoting different techniques for avoiding, managing and resolving disputes. It has over 16,000 members in around 130 countries and the Board of Trustees, made up of 14 members from around the world, supports the governance of the CIArb.
