Chambers would like to announce that Dr S Chelvan, a leading legal voice in immigration and public law, has been invited to speak at the '9th Global Summit on Feminist and LGBTQ+ Studies' in Vancouver. The conference will take place on 3rd and 4th November, 2025.

This annual event is a leading international forum for scholars, activists, and policymakers to engage in crucial discussions on gender, sexuality, and social justice.

Dr Chelvan will be lending his expertise to this important dialogue with his keynote speech, 'Through the Looking Glass – What Queer Refugees Can Focus on to Gain Sanctuary.'
