Gul Nawaz Hussain KC starts defending in the high profile criminal trial of Daniel Khalife at Woolwich Crown Court this week. 

Daniel Khalife is the 23-year-old former British soldier accused of spying. 

He also came to further prominence when he escaped from HMP Wandsworth. 

The trial will last up to 8 weeks.
