Nina Reinach appeared in the Court of Appeal, representing the appellant in an appeal against his sentence. Leave to appeal was granted on the basis that the sentence imposed on the defendant in respect of burglary offences was manifestly excessive. 

The Court allowed the appeal, quashed the original sentence, and imposed a lower sentence on the defendant.
