Christina Warner explians, "The disconnect between junior and senior practitioners in family practice is a significant issue. Junior practitioners often feel uncomfortable asking key questions or seeking a senior colleague or a barrister’s view on how their case may play out in court. This reticence can be due to time scarcity, management pressures or simply a detachment between junior practitioners and senior fee earners or supervisors at their respective firms. Myself and Jamil Mohammed and recognise these pressures and decided to approach them in a productive and proactive manner [...] The seminars focused on breaking down complex areas of family practice such as Part 25 applications, the appointment of r. 16.4 Guardians in private law cases or how to navigate cases involving parental alienation. We aimed to build attendees' confidence, putting client care and case management at the forefront of the discussion, and bridge the gap between junior solicitor practitioners and barristers."
