Introduction

Teri is a specialist civil barrister with a background in defendant litigation. Prior to being called to the Bar, she spent over 10 years working in some of the largest Legal 500 law firms and a FTSE 100 insurance company representing Defendants and insurers in a wide range of claims.

She specialises in personal injury involving complex issues of causation, fraud and fundamental dishonesty. She has knowledge of a wide range of legal issues arising out of allegations of fraud and recently represented a direct access client in a very complex case of conspiracy and deceit.

Her experience includes claims arising out of road traffic accidents, employers liability, public liability and housing disrepair. She accepts instructions for written advice on prospects and/or quantum, drafting through to representation at trial. Teri also attends inquests on behalf of insurers and/or family members.

Teri has assisted in cases for the Attorney General as a junior junior including the COVID inquiry and a significant fraudulent misrepresentation case for the HMRC.

Teri’s background working for large insurer clients shines through in an effective, practical, and commercial consideration to cases. She has an active interest in commercial law and accepts public access clients.
